“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” 1 John 4:16 (NIV)
Today's verse is short and we are looking at even just the first part of it. We believe that most of you who follow this blog will agree that these words express your feeling today. We are so grateful to God for letting us know in the Bible that He love us. Yes, He loves the people of this world and showed it by sending Jesus to die on the cross for us. And He especially loves those of us who have accepted by faith what Jesus did for us. We believe it and we know that he loves us. We can rely on this promise of God's love each day and in every situation we find ourselves. This give us peace in our hearts as we trust in His love and depend on Him because we live in Him and He lives in us. Reliable promise of Love, that's what our verse means.
