“Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.” 1 John 3:2
When we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior we are brought into the family of God. God gives us the right to be one of His children and we thank God for accepting us. As we live our lives here on earth trusting in Jesus as our Savior we do experience peace in our hearts. We realize that God loves us and cares for us. Our verse today reminds us that God has much greater experiences in store for us. We will never really know all that God has planned for us until we are with Him in heaven. All we can do now is believe and keep trusting. So we remain faithful each day
waiting for that day our verse reminds us of – the day when we will
see Him as He is and we will be like Him.
