“Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory in the heavens.” Psalm 8:1 (NIV)
The Bible has much to say about the names of God. We can agree today with certainty that the name of our Lord is majestic. It reminds us of his majesty, of His rulership, of the fact that He is in control of the universe. Yes, our Lord’s name is majestic here on this earth but this earth is only a small part of the whole universe. So, our verse also reminds us that God’s glory is above the heavens which includes our sun, our moon, all the planets and every single star and system that we see as stars and even those we do not see. So, remember this when you call on the name of our Lord. He is also above all the problems we face on earth. Let us continue to believe in Him to trust Him each day. He is a great God.
