“One thing God has spoken, two things I have heard: “Power belongs to you, God, and with you, Lord, is unfailing love” and, “You reward everyone according to what they have done.”” Psalm 62:11-12 (NIV)
These words from the Bible were written and sung by the psalmist David. The two things that David sung about are two truths which are eternally true. God is strong and He is loving. He also holds everyone accountable for what they do. Now, this does not tell the whole story. The Bible teaches us and reminds us of other facts about God besides his power and his love. Two truths that David mentioned in this are very important for our daily encouragement. We need each day to remember that our God is strong, He is powerful and that He is able to take care of us. There is nothing too hard for Him to do. And to remember that our God is loving is also very important. He will care for us and he will help us do what He wants us to do because he loves us and wants the best for us.
