God has a wonderful purpose for His children here on earth and we learn this from today’s verse. God is faithful in many ways. He is faithful to keep His promises to us and in our verse today we are reminded that He is faithful to carry out His plans for us His children. Today, we learn about two plans that God has for us. First He has a plan to present us blameless in His very presence that we might stand before Him as perfect, without spot. Secondly He plans to do that by bringing us into fellowship with Jesus. God calls us into this fellowship with His Son. These are glorious plans that God is working on. Let us open our hearts for Him to work in us today to accomplish HIS purposes.

“He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:8-9 (NIV)
