Where, actually do we get our inspiration for living a life of faith? Our inspiration must come from looking at our Savior Jesus Christ. There has always been the temptation to become weary and to lose heart. When we face difficulties or opposition of some kind we are apt to think it is no longer worth while trying to live a good life. We are tempted to give up. This was true in the time the Bible was written. That is why we have this verse. What’s the solution? It is to look to Jesus and remember how much opposition He faced. And today He is in heaven exalted at the right hand of God.

“Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” Hebrews 12:3 (NIV)
