These words remind us of the source of the strength that we need to live our lives of faith. We don’t have the ability to live as we should in our own selves. We need to be reminded each day where we are going to get the ability to live as we ought to. We can be strong in the Lord! He is the source of strength. He is the source of all that we need today. So let us remember to look to Him and to trust Him. There is something really vigorous about the words of this verse. Can’t you just sense the power of God assuring you as your think about them?

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” Ephesians 6:10 (NIV)
