God has made a wonderful provision for those who trust in Him. Did you notice what it is that God has provided for us? First of all He gives us everything we need for life. That includes our needs of material things: Our need for food, for clothing, a place to live – the things we need to live in this world. Secondly, our God gives us everything we need for godliness, these are our spiritual needs. How does all this become ours? By knowing God, what He is, what He knows and what He can do. Our needs are met as we learn to know Him more and more. “…through our knowledge of Him who has called us…”
