This is the good promise to remember when the way seems dark ahead of us. In times like that we may not see the way very clearly, but we can trust in our Lord. He knows the way. He knows the future. There is something very tender about the words “Who takes hold of your right hand.” There is such a personal relationship expressed in those words. Well, our God does have a personal interest in you and in me and in each of His children. And He is anxious and eager for each of us to experience that personal relationship. Let us remember the promise of our God today; “Do not fear; I will help you.”

“For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” Isaiah 41:13 (NIV)
