“The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him,”  Nahum 1:7 (NIV)

As we begin each day we really do not know what the day will bring. There may be some unexpected situations to face, so how do we face them? That’s what the verse explains for us. The promise includes a certain condition to be fulfilled by us.  The promise is for those who trust in the Lord. If we trust Him at the beginning of each day, and throughout the day, then the Lord will respond by caring for us, by taking care of our needs whatever might develop. So, let us be sure that we put our confidence in the Lord and His goodness. Remember – “He cares for those who trust in Him.”
