“For I said, “Steadfast love will be built up forever; in the heavens you will establish your faithfulness.”” Psalm 89:2 (ESV)
These words are an expression of faith that we can all express. We can express our confidence in the permanence of God’s love because that is His nature. When we might waver due to the testing of our faith, we can hold on to this promise, God’s love is steadfast forever because He is steadfast forever and Love is what God is. He who made the heavens and the earth has always been and He never changes. Nor does His love for His own ever change. It is all a part of the character of our God to be faithful to all that He is. He has promised to be always faithful, always loving because that is intrinsic to His character. So remember that He will be loving us today – always faithful to His promises.
