“This also comes from the Lord of hosts; he is wonderful in counsel and excellent in wisdom.” Isaiah 28:29 (ESV)
Our world seems sometimes to be a chaotic mess and unsettling. It is easy to be distracted and disturbed by current events. We believe that our God brings us into this world which He created and He watches over us each day. In chapter 28 of the book of Isaiah, the prophet reminds us how much God is involved in our lives. The verse we have today are the last words of that chapter. When God created human beings He created not only human bodies but He created minds and intellect as well. And He continues to be involved in our lives helping us to know how to live. We do well to remember in all things, He is the source of wisdom for each of us. Not only that but He always is available to us – that is a promise and he provides counsel. God Almighty is our source of wisdom in every situation we might encounter. His counsel is wonderful and His wisdom is excellent. It is the best we have and He gives it to us abundantly.
