“They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights.” Psalm 36:8 (ESV)
Our focus today is on thoughts about the last words of this verse by the psalmist David who was praising God for His blessings. It is true that God's blessings can be likened to feasting to satisfy spiritual hunger. God promises to provide all we need spiritually and He also promises to satisfy our spiritual thirst. Did you notice how the psalmist described the source of the satisfying drink? He said that gives His people to drink from His river of delights. We hope you have experienced the delight of having your spiritual hunger and thirst satisfied by God. God does want to thrill us by satisfying our deepest needs. He knows what our souls need and He knows what our souls need and He want us to enjoy His blessings which He has promised to us.
