“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13 (NIV)
This verse should fill our hearts with joy rejoicing. We fully believe that these blessings are for us today just as they were available to the Christians in Rome to whom these words were written long ago. God is anxious to fill us with joy and peace and also with hope. If you should have a spell of unhappiness today God wants to fill you with His joy. If your heart and mind are disturbed by some crisis or difficulty, God wants to fill you with His peace. If you are wondering about the future God wants to fill you with His hope. And all this is available if your trust the Lord. It is by the power of His Holy Spirit and not by our effort that we have His joy, peace and hope. Live in this promise today and thank God for His love.
