“I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:18 (NIV)
This promise is given to us in more than one place in the Bible. If you have believed and accepted Jesus Christ to be your Savior you are a child of God. You can know that God is your Father. These words are the words of God quoted by the Apostle Paul in his letter to the believers in Corinth. It teaches and reminds us how important God considers our relationship to Him to be. He is the one who is so anxious that we always remember this relationship. Let's remember this today. Remember, my friend, that you are a son or a daughter of the Almighty God. He is all powerful and nothing is impossible for Him.
