“Such confidence we have through Christ before God. Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.” 2 Corinthians 3:4-5 (NIV)
Thank you for taking the time to be a part of this blog. The times we are in these days can be very unsettling and maybe you have questions about what is in store for us and if we can handle whatever is ahead. We have a word of encouragement written by the Apostle Paul to share with you today. Whenever we question our competence, Paul tells us that any real competence we have comes to us through Christ. This is a statement of faith. Our faith is in Christ and it is only through Him that we are able to preform anything of value. It is through faith we have confidence and that comes from God as a gift. So whatever has happened or is going to happen, these are the days we can remember that though we can't do it on our own but we can do it with the competence that comes from God.
