“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Ephesians 6:18 (NIV)
We know that we have a wonderful God and one truth that we must never forget is that He answers prayer. The bible verse we have chosen today reminds us how wonderfully He hears our prayers and how He wants us to continue in prayer. Do you notice that this verse places no limits as to what we should be praying for or when we should be praying. We are encouraged to pray on all occasions. God keeps no office hours and He is always listening for our prayers no matter when or where we are. God does not limit us to praying for certain special needs in particular appointed places with prescribed prayers said a certain way and containing certain words and phrases. We're encouraged to come to Him with all kinds of prayers and requests. In other places we are encouraged to pour out our hearts. What a wonderful invitation. Let's not hesitate to bring Him any request for ourselves or for others.
