“As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.” Psalm 103:13-14 (NIV)
We are so glad for the many passages in the Bible which remind us what kind of God we have. This, we believe is the reason why God has given us the Bible – to let us know what He is like. God is the one who has given us life; He knows very well what our capacities are. He also knows our weaknesses. He knows that we can’t live like we ought to live in our own strength and ability. So when we fail to live like a child of God should live, He doesn’t reject us our verse reminds us that He has compassion on us. He feels sorry for us and He is ready to help us as we turn to Him. He knows us so well and He give us His spiritual power to live our human lives for Him.
