“My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek.” Psalm 27:8 (NIV)

We know that David was a person who was used to talking to God. He found great satisfaction in being close to the Lord. It filled his heart with joy and his heart often was drawn to seek closer fellowship with God. As god filled the heart of David with joy and satisfaction, so He will do for us too. We are sure that many who read this verse have experienced what David expresses in our verse. You have felt the desire in your heart to seek God’s face and you know the joy of his presence in your life. We know that God wants to us to draw close to Him today, and that we’ll sense His presence when we turn to Him. He’ll respond when we say as David did, “Your face, Lord, I will seek today.”
