“You, God, are awesome in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God!” Psalm 68:35 (NIV)
We remember how much David loved to worship God and how after he became King he brought the Ark of the Covenant to the City of Jerusalem where we remember how he had made a place of worship in which to keep it until the temple was built by his son Solomon. David felt the awesomeness of the presence of God in this place of worship. We too can experience the awesome presence of God when we truly worship Him and recognize that He is with us. We believe that David received power and strength as he worshipped God. We can also experience that as we truly worship Him today wherever we are. God will give us strength to keep living for Him. Let us join David in the words of this verse and say, “Praise be to God!”
