We have many opportunities to hear the Word of God. What difference does that make to us? When we hear His Word taught what effect does the hearing have on us? The Word says, “faith comes from hearing the message.” When our hearts are open to the message of God that we hear, our faith is increased. So it is important that we pay close attention to what we hear, and accept it for ourselves. The result will be that our faith and confidence in God will grow. And isn’t that what we need?

“Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.” Romans 10:17 (NIV)
