The prophet Isaiah was a messenger of God. Many of the messages which God gave him to pass on to the people were to call them back to God. He realized that God had planned great things for them if they obeyed Him. Isaiah also predicted many things to take place in the future. These were also in God’s plan for his people. All these plans revealed something about God. He knew that what God plans He is faithful to carry out. This is our God today. He has great plans for each of His own and He is faithful in carrying out those plans. Let us allow Him to do for us what He has planned.

“Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.” Isaiah 25:1 (NIV)
