“Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.”  Psalm 25:4-5 (NIV)

This is a prayer of the psalmist David that should be appropriate for us today. God knows so well that we all need His help in knowing how to live our lives here in this world. That, of course is one reason why He sent His Son into this world. But even before that He had inspired writers of the Old Testament to reveal to His people how they should live. And He has for all the centuries provided for us His guidance in the Word which He has preserved for us during all these years.  Let us thank Him for His provision and then remember that it is God Himself who is guiding us through His Word.
