“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.”  2 Corinthians 4:16-17 (NIV)

It is very important that we look at the problems of life from the proper perspective. We find a reminder of this in Paul’s writing to the Corinthians. Did you notice the perspective that the apostle Paul was using? It was the perspective of eternity. That is why he could call his problems momentary troubles. Although they might last for hours or even days, he could call them momentary when compared to eternity. And he could also list his problems light compare them to the glory which far outweighed them. Look at your problems today from this perspective.
