“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” Philippians 4:4 (NIV)

This is a short verse, but is about something that should never end. It is about joy in the Lord. We ask ourselves what that means. When we rejoice it is always for some reason. So why would someone rejoice in the Lord? It would be because a person had experienced something special about Him. So we rejoice in knowing that our God is always concerned about us, personally concerned. And His concern is based on His great unfailing love. God loves you. Does not that make you happy? Does not that give you joy? You can depend on him being with you. Does not that also give you joy? Think what God has done for you and is doing for you. Keep thinking about it – it will produce joy!
