This is a prayer which we can all pray. When we have come to know our loving heavenly Father we realize that we do need His presence with us constantly. We can say that we long for His presence and we can depend on His being with us. Is it not true that when we awaken in the morning and face a new day we realize that His presence gives us strength to face the day? This strength is not only in the morning hours but at any hour of the day. We only need to turn to Him in faith and His strength is available.

“Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.” Isaiah 33:2 (NIV)
