“Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.” Matthew 15:28 (NIV)
Jesus was speaking to a Canaanite woman who had come to ask that her daughter be healed by Jesus. Note what Jesus said about her faith. Sometimes we are apt to think that our faith is great or that someone else has great faith. But here it was Jesus who said it. Isn’t that what is really important? It’s how our Lord evaluates our faith. So let’s not use human measurements of our faith. Just trust God, His greatness, His power, His love and His concern for us. Then we can let Him measure our faith.
