It is a statement of fact regarding all those whom God loves. Actually, it states twice that the one who God loves can rest in Him. Do you believe that God loves you? If you are sure of His love, doesn’t that help you to relax? No matter what situation you face, you can be sure He will take care of you. That means that you can rest in His promise.

“Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the Lord loves rests between his shoulders.” Deuteronomy 33:12 (NIV)
