“Stop doubting and believe.” John 20:27 (NIV)
“Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20:29 (NIV)

Thomas, the disciple of Jesus, doubted that Jesus had really been raised from the dead. We read about his doubts and how he finally saw Jesus who told him to “stop doubting and believe.” There are times when we need to have Jesus tell us those same words. Doubts come into our thinking and we wonder if His promises are really applicable to our situation. Then Jesus would say, “Stop doubting, believe.” This is the way of blessing. We know that because of what Jesus told Thomas later. Let’s allow this blessing to come to us who have not seen, yet believed.
