“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31
Does this sound too good to be true? We know, of course that the prophet is speaking of spiritual strength and relief from spiritual weariness. And he tells us that these are the result of trust in the Lord. He had reminded his readers that our God does not grow tired or weary, and that He gives strength to the weary. So this great almighty God has a way of passing on to His trusting children relief from weariness. Are you tempted to tire of living for the Lord and of facing problems? Hope in the Lord! He WILL renew your strength.
